Good News for Landlords – and Tenants
Landlords who have made their properties more energy efficient can claim up to £1500 against tax every year – and it’s possible that if they’ve already done it they can claim for previous years. So if you’re a tenant, tell your landlord; in some cases, they can claim as far back as 2004; but the allowance ends in 2015, so they’d better get a move on!
