The Things Politicians Have to Do….
Two election candidates – Lib Dem Heather Kidd and Conservative Philip Dunne – visited our Green Technology Bazaar on Saturday; and we lost no time giving them both a photo opportunity by inviting them to try their pedal power on our adapted race track! Sadly, they weren’t there at the same time so they couldn’t race each other.
Stretton Climate Care Chair Jon Cooke said ‘ It was good to have both the leading contenders turning up to give their support, and I think it shows the degree of importance politicians now attach to climate change and the need to encourage everyone to reduce energy-wasting behaviour’.
The other candidates in the Ludlow constituency are Christina Evans (BNP), Christopher Gill (UKIP), Tony Hunt (Labour) and Jacqui Morrish (Green).

Being an active supporter of both Green issues AND our MP Philip Dunne, I am pleased to see the latter supporting your recent Green Technology Bazaar. Keep up the excellent work you are doing through Stretton Climate Care.
