Electric Car Breakthrough as New Batteries Announced

Everyone says the big problem with electric cars is their range and the loss over time of battery capacity.  Well, perhaps we’ve seen another big step towards a solution!  PowerJapan Plus have announced a new battery that’s more powerful and charges quicker than Lithium -ion, uses no nasty rare or heavy metals, is 100% recyclable and doesn’t decay over time.  At the same time we hear that Shropshire’s first truly publicly available electric car charging point will be installed on 27 May.  The claims by PowerJapan plus for their Ryden Dual Carbon Battery are so exciting we can’t really believe them, but if they are true we could see another major step forward in electric transport within a year.
