What to do about Plastic?

What to do about Plastic?

We’ve teamed up with the Co-op to explore what plastic can and can’t be recycled.  On SATURDAY 6th OCTOBER we shall be outside the store with two of their shopping trollies full of plastic – one which can be recycled and the other which at present cannot. Our purpose is to encourage shoppers to think more about the plastic which surrounds so much of what we buy. We have produced a detailed information sheet which we will be giving out and are already much encouraged by many of the traders in the town who are doing all they can to reduce plastic – especially that which cannot be recycled. Copies of the leaflet available from the Wellbeing Centre, Thursday mornings 10.00 – 12.00 at our weekly advice drop in service.
