According to the Zap Map newsletter the electric car market continued to perform strongly in August, increasing sales in a traditionally slow month, and topping the 2% market share barrier again. Pure electric registrations increased more than 60% compared to August 16, while PHEV sales grew by almost 40% .

The future of motoring is definitely electric, especially now the Government have announced diesel and pure petrol vehicles will be phased out by 2040  in order to improve air quality.
