ELM and Common Land: What does the Future Hold?

Following on from the release of Defra’s Agricultural Transition Plan the Foundation for Common Land (FCL) is hosting the first of its update sessions on ELM and Common Land. It will be held via Zoom on the 14th December at 19.30. Everyone is welcome – please tell your fellow commoners, friends and colleagues.

The free session lasting one hour will cover:

  • Latest Updates on ELM and Common Land – what is Defra saying about ELM & how it affects Common Land?
  • The transitional arrangements – current schemes, pilots and the SFI
  • Help Shape the Future – Our Defra Test & Trial on Commons  FCL and Federation of Cumbria Commoners (FCC) are working with the Defra Family and Commoners on eight sites to test and trial a delivery model for ELM. Hear how we are progressing.

Speakers will include Julia Aglionby (FCL), Viv Lewis (FCC) and Joanna Swiers (FCL). There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
