Of course these BBQs should be banned - & not just temporarily.

But like ‘greenwashing’ & ‘carbon footprint calculators’ this psychologically pushes the blame onto the public & away from the oil & gas giants.

It’s a measure that is as cowardly as it is dangerously inadequate.

We will all feel this heartbreak.

The future we were told is waiting for us never existed.

“Work hard, put into the system, & the system will take care of you.”

We were sold a lie.

And one by one we must now watch the people & places we love disappear.
