We are delighted with the response to the setting up of our Repair Cafe. Church Stretton clearly appreciates the need to Make Do and Mend, saving both the world’s resources and, at the same time, saving a bit of money! We have a fantastic team of repairers and lots of satisfied customers.

Our next meeting will be on Saturday January 29, 10 am to noon, in the Scout Hut. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer refreshments this time because cold weather will make al fresco dining less attractive, and we need to remain Covid cautious if moving the event entirely indoors.

So, on this occasion we are trying a slightly different system and asking customers to book a time slot for dropping off their items for repair. Customers will then be invited to return to collect their goods at noon. Please could you email us at [email protected] giving details and maybe a photograph of the broken item. We will send you a time slot and look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning!
