Apple Pressing Weekend in Cardingmill Valley – postponed until 2022

Apple Pressing Weekend in Cardingmill Valley – postponed until 2022

1 September is a provisional date – we will update this event just as soon as we can make firm plans.

Over the weekend of the event, bring your own apples (and if possible your own containers) and watch them turn into mouthwatering liquid nourishment. You can even squeeze them yourself!

It’s too early to know if you will have a bumper crop of windfall apples this year. And keep an eye out for what’s happening in your neighbours’ gardens. Tell them about the event, even offer them a few empty and washed plastic milk bottles. Apple juice freezes well for a few months and will gradually become sweeter. It may not be plastic free apple juice but is an excellent way of reusing plastic milk bottles. See you there?

Tell them about the event, even offer them a few empty and washed plastic milk bottles and you may be lucky and they will give you some of the apple juice.
