Permanent grasslands<\/a> hold about a third of Earth\u2019s terrestrial carbon<\/a>, meaning they can\u2019t be overlooked when we talk about slowing climate change, writes Gill Perkins. More grasslands, and especially more biodiverse ones, means more natural carbon storage<\/a>.
