Renewable Energy in the Home – the way ahead

With proposals to ban mains gas connections to new-build homes within five years, an ever increasing interest in home battery storage, and growing demand for ground and air source heating systems, it looks like zero carbon  home renewable energy is definitely the way forward. Yet recent reductions in the Feed in Tariff income from photo voltaic installations make us wonder whether it’s worth it…

Andy Perkins from Energy Zone, one of our approved contractors, is very much an expert in this field.  He will explain the latest developments and technologies and answer questions from the audience about the next steps to total energy independence in the home.

Correctly placed and installed P.V. panels can make a real difference to help reduce your carbon footprint. Yes it will take time to recoup your investment but your electricity bills will be lower and you are setting an example as well as putting unused generation back into the grid for others to use.
